Henrieta Hen of Lanefoot Cottage has been homeless for at least a year in our village but the neighbours haven’t lost one so she is lonely. She eats the birdseed when the pheasant isn’t claiming his share. I don’t suppose they can get too friendly and ….?!

She seems to have needed a dust bath but is normally quite shy and hides somewhere in the undergrowth. The pheasant is much more friendly.
